To make all of the hidden details jump out of your zoid use a fine tip black sharpie.-Superliger

When you cut out the zoids parts use model cutters or a model knife to get a clean cut. It might be easier to use cutters to cut the part out then use the knife to trim the excess plastic from the part.-Superliger

If you can find that perfect smooth place to build zoids models use a self healing cutting mat. You can find one in just about any kind of craft store and they come in varius sizes and colors for your choosing. A self healing mat will heal itself when you cut into it, it also provides grip so it won't slip from you and keeps your working surface clean of cutting marks. A word of caution is to keep the mat out of the sun light so it doesn't warp.-Superliger

If the motion of your Zoids is choppy try sanding or filing the holes where the parts interlock with each other.-Superliger
